You can make your own mocktail recipes, whip a classic Shirley Temple together or make a cocktail without spirits added. Here are a few of our favorite cocktails to try:

La Croix and Lavender Mocktail

Sparkling water is already a good idea, but the addition of lavender simple syrup and grapefruit juice takes it to a whole new level. Do not forget the decoration!

Homemade lemonade

Since you need to dilute your lemonade concentrate, why not use flavored water? We love adding blackberries and raspberries to the final drink, but choose your favorites for a combination that is entirely your own.

Almost vegetarian

If you are interested in vegetarianism and veganism, but you’re not sure you can completely cut meat out, try Reducetarianism, or reduce your meat consumption. With so many salads, pastes, and vegan recipes, it’s easier to minimize your meat intake than it sounds. If you are going to eat meat, go for grass-fed or grass-fed. Here are a few meat-free recipes to get you started:

Vegetarian Slow-Cooker stuffed mushrooms

The golden spice turmeric has been used for centuries, and although recipes like golden milk are not new, Whole Foods is starting to see an increase in grains, sauerkraut and even ice cream sandwiches that contain turmeric. It is fantastic anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties and it can help against depression and arthritis. Here are a few recipes you can whip together to try:

Use non-dairy milk, turmeric and cayenne for this creamy beverage. Similar to how you do matcha, just whip it all together and pour over a sieve. Try it over ice in the summer or in a mug on colder days.

Small space gardening

cultivate a garden in a small space

With the introduction of their market (and the greenhouse upstairs) in Brooklyn, Whole Foods was able to deliver incredibly fresh produce even though they are in the middle of the city! Businesses like Lettuce grows and Map makes it easy to grow herbs, spices and more in your home, even if you do not have plenty of space. Try growing your own and try these recipes with fresh herbs:

Think of this citrus fruit, grown primarily in Asia, as a sister to oranges and lemons. It’s the perfect amount of pie for vinaigrette, seltzers, soups and pasta dishes. Yuzu is low in calories, can improve blood flow and may even have anticancer properties. Try it with these recipes:
