Did you know that London boasts more than 17 apartment buildings?
If you fancy a little break from the city life and want to meet a few cute animals, then this is the place for you.
Mudchute Park and Farm is located in the middle of the Isle of Dogs and is an area that has a staggering 32 acres of land.
The farm is so large that one almost feels like one is in the rural countryside if it were not for the Canary Wharf skyscrapers in the background.

The farm is quite easy to get to and you get the opportunity to meet a wide variety of cute animals.
As you roam the fields you will see cows, sheep and goats, including some very rare British breeds.
There is also a duck pond to feed the ducks, but the main attraction is the equestrian center where you can learn to ride a horse, no matter what ability or age you are.
A hidden gem is the llamas, and during the spring you have the chance to see some baby animals including ducklings and small lambs.
On site there is a farm shop, which is ideal for picking up fresh organic fruit and vegetables to take home.
There is a popular cafe, which serves great snacks and breakfast, and you can sit out in the yard and watch the horses trot past at the nearby stables.
Farm events also include seasonal parties throughout the year, such as a summer open day and a spooky Halloween fair.
If you need another reason to visit, the courtyard and cafe are open seven days a week, and admission is completely free.
On TripAdvisor, many Londoners have left glowing reviews of the farm.

Another review said: “Great place to explore in London, you would never think you’re in the city. Great for kids with animals to see, cafe for refreshments and plenty of space for walks.”
A 5 * review said: “I did not expect to find a place like this in London, it is in a great location and actually feels like you have left the city.”
This is an apartment building like no other and if you wander through during the spring you will definitely see some of the flowers come into bloom.
