Here we bring you a sukhdi recipe that contains gondh (edible chewing gum) – gondh god papdi. Here atta is roasted in ghee and then gondh and god are added and cut into barfi shapes. For the ignorant, the inclusion of the gondh dish makes it even healthier for the winter. According to health experts and nutritionists, gondh helps keep our body warm and strengthens the immunity to deal with winter-related diseases. Jaggery added makes the dish rich in iron and helps you keep warm and prevent the cold weather outside.

Gujarati Sukhdi Recipe: How to Make Gondh God Papdi

  • Grind the gondhen in painted glass. Hold aside.
  • Heat the ghee in a kadhai and add atta to it.
  • Shake well until the attaa turns golden brown in color.
  • Add gondh to it and mix.
  • Add some dry ginger powder and mix.
  • Take it off the burner and continue to stir with jaggery for at least 5 minutes.
  • Grease a plate or barfi-form and transfer the mixture.
  • Let it sit and cut barfis out of it.

That is it! Gondh god papdi is ready in no time. You can store and enjoy these delicious sukhdis for days.
