This farm in the Pittsburgh area won Best in Show at the Pennsylvania Farm Show cheese competition. Their Hootenanny and fresh Chevre cheeses took 1st and 2nd place, respectively, and their Wild Rosemary took 1st place in the flavored cheese category.

DiAnoia’s eatery

2549 Penn Ave., Strip District.

DiAnoia’s brought back its full breakfast and lunch menu. With New York-style egg sandwiches, paninis and pasta options, the menu will definitely make you feel satisfied. Breakfast is served from 8 am-3pm and lunch is 11 am-3pm

Brazil House

5904 Bryant St., Highland Park.

Casa Brasil also brings back their Saturday lunch. Saturday will be at 11.00-21.00 Enjoy a hot meal in this cold weather with these lunch favorites.

Kingfly Spirits

2613 Smallman St., Strip District.

This distillery has added a new item to their range: Chamomile liqueur. With notes of grape and the distinct taste of local honey, this liqueur has what is described as a “full-bodied finish” that goes well with your homemade cocktails.

This is a weekend for both vegans and burger lovers. “Crapteka” returns to Apteka with burgers, BBQ yuba, french fries, cabbage bab, stoner salads, sunflower milkshakes and more. Find these items every Friday to Sunday from Friday 14th. January to Sunday, January 30th.

East End Brewing

147 Julius St., Larimer.

A new menu at this brewery features Hot Grapes pizza with garlic oil, mozzarella, chicken or seitan, red grapes, radicchio, blue cheese, balsamic glaze and rosemary. Enjoy with a Tuscan white bean salad, olive tapenade or roasted kale and tomatoes.

Cinderland’s beer

3705 Butlet St., Lawrenceville.

Two new beers have been added to the selection at this brewery. Il Spundo is an Italian-style lager that is hop-forward. Star Crumb Cherry Pie is a tartshake fruit clock with sweet and sour cherry puree, Madagascar vanilla bean, milk, sugar and baking spices.

Pittsburgh Chocolate, Wine and Whiskey Festival

777 Casino Drive., North Side.

On February 12, Pittsburgh will host this festival of delicious wine, whiskey and chocolate for your enjoyment. Included in the price of a ticket are chocolate samples, a wine glass with unlimited porus, unlimited whiskey samples, tasty food, a S’mores bar and more. This event was sold out last time, so be sure to get your tickets ASAP.

Caliente Pizza & Draft House

4624 Liberty Ave., Bloomfield.
Caliente is offering 100 free Betty White’s Garden pizzas to the first 100 patrons who order for pick-up or drop-off at their six locations. Inspired by the late TV star, pizza is a favorite among vegetarians and functions white sauce, spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms, red onion, feta cheese and toasted garlic butter. This campaign starts on what would have been White’s 100th birthday, Monday, January 17th.
