On Sunday, January 9, Smorgasburg LA will reopen after their holiday break with new vendors joining the list. Smorgasburg has announced five new suppliers:

B’ivrit is a wandering Middle Eastern street food pop-up by Amit Sidi, famous for its tricolor falafel, hummus and cauliflower shawarma. After hopping around between various eastern locations during the pandemic, Smorgasburg will be B’ivrit’s first permanent weekly location.

Cali Dumpling

Founded by Candace and Allan Tea, Cali Dumpling was started during the pandemic as the independent brand of an El Monte-based dumpling company that supplies handmade dumplings to some of the most well-known dumpling stores in the San Gabriel Valley. This means that from this Sunday, Smorgasburg participants will be able to get SGV-quality soup buns in DTLA along with more untraditional specialties like pho soup buns and fried pizza buns.

Chimmelier by Hanchic

Chimmelier is a Korean fried chicken sandwich concept from the chef and owners of Hanchic, the modern Korean restaurant in K-Town run by Rising Star Chef Justin Kim.

Smooth is

After a hugely popular stay last summer as the star of Smorgasburg’s annual ice alley, Happy Ice will hit the market full time with their unique brand of Philadelphia-style water ice cream from owner Lemeir Mitchell.

Say it’s not like that

Conceived by chef Chris Olsefsky, Say It Ain’t So, is classic SoCal-style fast food, but exclusively plant-based. Think vegan crunchadillas, burgers, mini-taquitos and more.

Just for their grand reopening day, FOX’s new Gordon Ramsay cooking competition show Next Level Chef will bring some iconic Los Angeles eateries to Smorgasburg, showcasing a range of what the Los Angeles food scene has to offer. Sushi | Bar, Gracias Madre and Howlin ‘Rays show up in Smorgasburg on January 9th, serving some of their most famous dishes to attendees in a Next Level Chef room.
