In Mooresville, 158 on Main at 158 ​​N. Main St. transformed into “Miracle on Main” as part of the international pop-up bar event called Miracle.

Seasonal pop-ups have popped up all over the Charlotte area, which have turned bars and restaurants into a winter wonderland of lights, festive decorations and creative holiday drinks.

Each lasts until the end of December, but make your plans early. The pop-up Sippin ‘Santa at Royal Tot has already run out of available reservations.

Here are a few of the places you can visit to join in the cheers.

158 on Main’s Miracle on Main

Location: 158 N Main St., Mooresville, NC 28115

Neighborhood: Mooresville

Atmosphere: This Mooresville place has been transformed with 3,000 Christmas packages and balls hanging from the ceiling and walls are decorated with wrapping paper. T

The drinks: The menu includes a cocktail list with drinks like vodka Christmapolitan and cognac Jingle Balls Nog. And there are non-alcoholic drinks like Reindeer Runover, made with non-alcoholic bourbon, gingerbread, orange oil and bitter.

What you need to know: Registration is first come, first served.

BackStage Lounge’s Miracle

Location: 2433 South Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28203

Neighborhood: South End

Atmosphere: The halls are decorated in Griswold style and there are a number of inventive drinks.

The drinks: The offer includes Bad Santa, served hot with aged rum, velvet falernum, mixed spicy butter, oat milk and nutmeg, and Elfing Around with prosecco, gin, mulled wine reduction, grapefruit bush, aromatic bitter and orange bitters.

What you need to know: Reservations are recommended.

BOCADO’s Winter Wonder Bar

Location: 2000 South Blvd., Suite 530, Charlotte, NC 28203

Neighborhood: SouthEnd

Atmosphere: Winter Wonder Bar, available through New Year’s Eve, fills the space near the Rail Trail with nostalgic lights.

The drinks: The cocktail menu includes hot concoctions such as Buttered Bah Humbug with rum, homemade butter caramel, cinnamon and steamed milk, and Smiling’s My Favorite, with vodka, pear, cinnamon, lemon and sparkling wine).

What you need to know: Reservations are accepted.

Tavern’s Jingle City Bar

Location: 300 East Morehead St., Charlotte, NC 28202

Neighborhood: Uptown

Atmosphere: This interactive setup includes igloos, Santa’s Throne, Frosty the Snowman, life-size tapes, big nutcrackers, Santa-etts, oversized mistletoe and live music and DJs.

The drinks: Colorful holiday creations like Tipsy Rudolph and Beauty Santa.

What you need to know: There are tickets for events like Jazzy Santa Sunday, Karaoke Night and an ugly Christmas Eve sweater party. The pop-up is also collaborating with Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte to collect new and easily used toys.
