Where would we be without Costco? It’s hard to even imagine what life was like before we got a Costco membership, but it’s safe to say we ate much worse food. Life without the Costco bakery? Incredible, especially after trying their ham and cheesecakes. These days, we raid Costco every other week, so whenever we feel like it, we can reach into the fridge or pantry instead of ordering expensive takeaway. Our latest Costco favorite? Prepared soups. Nor are they canned condensed soups of your childhood – they are so good that you can close your eyes and swear that you are in a restaurant.

The soups were first mentioned in an Instagram post by CostcoHotFinds. And they are not your basic chicken noodles. Most of the varieties come in a pack of two, so you get several servings, and they are super practical for busy weekdays where you do not have time to make anything from scratch. It’s also nice if you do not like leftovers, because when you make soup from scratch, it always seems that we then have to eat the same soup for dinner every night for a week. Some of the hot-and-eat soups available at Costco right now include:

  • Kirkland Broccoli Cheddar Soup, $ 8.49
  • Cedar Lane Organic Chopped Vegetable and Barley Soup, $ 9.99
  • Ivars Loaded Baged Potato Soup, $ 8.99
  • Harry’s Organic Creamy Tomato Basil Soup, $ 10.69
  • Ivar’s Clam Chowder, $ 10.49
  • Blount King Crab and Corn Chowder, $ 10.49
  • Kirkland Lobster Bisque, $ 7.49

You can even get some of them, like Ivar’s Loaded Baked Potato Soup, when you shop groceries on Costco’s website.

Lent by Costco.

Nothing beats a hot bowl of soup on a cold night. Just do not forget to pair your soup with something delicious to dip, like grilled cheese for your tomato soup, oyster biscuits for your mussel soup and maybe some mimicked Red Lobster Cheddar Bay biscuits for king crab and corn juice. You can probably find all the ingredients you need, know, you guessed it, Costco!
