If you find yourself being one of these people, there are several options in Onslow to “warm up” during the cold mornings and sizzling nights.
Brewed Downtown is located at 1000 New Bridge St. in Jacksonville, and offers a wide variety of items to choose from.
According to their website, they sell hot and cold breakfast dishes, hot and cold breakfast sandwiches and salads, gourmet coffee and non-coffee specialties such as frappes and smoothies.
Owner Michelle Smith said they currently offer some seasonal items, including brown sugar cinnamon lattes, homemade hot chocolate, brown sugar cinnamon muffins and French toast muffins.
“We offer a 10% discount if you bring your cup of coffee,” Smith said, citing supply chain problems. “20 oz. Cups are backordered for the sixth week in a row. We’ve always given discounts on your own cup, but now we’re really hurt. We’ve been going for 10 years.”

According to their website, Coffee Haven strives “every day to make the perfect drink for each and every customer and their caffeine desire, while cultivating kindness.”
They recently announced on their Facebook page that “cool weather is not stopping us from drinking any cool coffee,” showing off their cold foam-cold brews and fruity pebble lattes.
But do not stress, they also have plenty of options for hot drinks.
Owner Katie Lee said they will also be making some fun seasonal drinks in February in honor of Valentine’s Day. These will include a Coco Cherry, which is a chocolate-coated cherry flavor, Love Rocks, which is a white chocolate strawberry cold foam latte topped with pop rocks, and a pink hot chocolate for a kid-friendly option.

“In my opinion, coffee not only warms the soul, but it makes good company too, and therefore we are the perfect place not only to grab a hot drink, but also a place to come and gather and meet friends, which is as good as a hot cup of coffee. “
