Save money on the store

After spraying out at Christmas time, many of us want to be more careful with our money at this time of year.

Going more, eating less out and cutting down on small “just because” treats are all great ways to save some extra pennies. But did you know that trying a vegan diet can also help?

A recent study from Oxford University ** showed that a vegan, vegetarian or flexible diet could reduce your food bill by up to a third.

Start by picking up essential items from the store like rice or pasta, add your favorite Princes Plant Based ready meals, and then finish the store with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Do your part for the environment

From recycling household waste to bringing a carrier bag to the supermarket, many of us take small steps to make our lifestyle greener to help the environment.

Becoming vegan can also reduce your CO2 footprint. ***

Raising animals for food requires much more soil and water than growing crops for plant-based diets. ***

By eating vegan meals, even sometimes, you are helping to reduce the negative impact your diet has on the environment. ***

Trying a healthier diet

All types of diets can be healthy. But following a vegan diet is one of the easiest ways to encourage yourself to eat dishes filled with nutritious foods like fruits, vegetables, nuts and grains.

It is also possible to get all the nutrients found in animal products in other ways; it might just take a little more thought and planning until you get used to making new recipes.

Fortunately, this is easier than ever with Prince’s plant-based products, which are the perfect building block for any vegan meal.

Whether it’s Prince’s plant-based chunky vegetable curry or Prince’s plant-based lentil and mushroom bolognese, simply reach for a can and use it as a ‘base’ for your plate.

Add some rice, pasta or rice noodles and serve with a side. This can be anything from naan bread to a salad or your favorite vegetable medley.

What is not to love!
